Hi Mark

Welcome to our forum and the crazy world of Eagle bus conversion. We are thrilled to have a member from your part of the world!

The side windows are held in by the trim ring on the inside of the bus. You remove the screws and pull the trim ring. There is a bit of adhesive between the outside skin and the window that also holds the window a bit. If model 5 windows are double pane, they will be heavy suckers. Be sure to have someone on the outside ready to catch the window as someone on the inside pushes it out.

There used to be a few folks selling both hard and CD versions of the maintenance manual. I could only find this vendor in my search: http://www.coachinfo.com/Coach_Manuals/ ... gle05.html. They have both hard and CD versions. I am not familiar with them, so I can't vouch for the quality. Bus Service Inc (http://busfixx.tripod.com/busservice/id40.html is a well know vendor and has started producing maintenance manuals, but they only show them for the model 10. You might want to contact them and see if they plan to produce the model 05 manuals in the near future.

I have both hard and CD versions for my model 10. I got the hard version many years ago, but the vendor does not seem to be in business any longer. The hard version was missing quite a few pages. The CD version seems complete, but the illustrations are not all that great. I tend to use the CD version more often, since it is loaded on my computer.

I would also get the parts manual. Not because you can order part any more, but it is a good reference to be able to see the assembly of the parts.
